Easter Basket Program „Великодній Кошик”  - 2015

Easter baskets were provided to orphans, children from poor families, and refugee families, in Kyiv this year thanks to the generous donations collected by the 2015 Easter Basket Program.  In addition, UUARC helped deliver 150 Easter baskets containing traditional Ukrainian Easter breakfast items to refugees and families of those killed in the Anti-Terrorist Operation. Pictured below are the Easter baskets sanctified by His Beatitude Sviatoslav at the Patriarchal Cathedral of the Resurrection in Kyiv.

Паска від ЗУАДКу для діточок з бідних сімей, сімей біженців, дітей-сиріт в м. Києві в Карітасі.  150 великодніх кошиків отримали сім'ї біженців та загиблих в АТО. В кошиках були Паска, хрін, яйця, сир, масло та ковбаса.  Малозабезпечені сім'ї та діти мали можливість також спробувати страви великоднього столу після освячення.  У Патріаршому соборі Воскресіння Христового Великодні кошики освятив Блаженнійший Святослав.

For Easter in 2015, Easter food items were delivered to the ill, disabled, and to the elderly in Ukraine living in poverty. The recipients hearts were filled with warmth as the thoughtfulness and kindess expressed towards them lifted up their hearts.
