From Childhood to Taras (2016)

Запорізька обл. 22 школярів і двоє педагогів відвідали м. Канів, в Черкаській обл., щоб поклонитись генієві українського народу Тарасові Шевченкові на Чернечій Горі та відвідати Національний музей імени Тараса Шевченка.

Юні запорожці привезли з собою творчі роботи – малюнки, вироби із соломки, глини й  дерева, які були вручені музеєві.

Побували вони в м Каневі в Успенському Соборі, де стояла домовина з тілом Великого Тараса та у Каневському музеї образотворчого мистецтва.

On November 2, 2016, 22 students of the Zaporizha oblast, all winners of the “From Childhood to Taras” competition, along with two teachers, visited the city of Kaniv, in the Cherkassy oblast, to pay their respects to the Great Bard of Ukraine, Taras Shevchenko.

These young aspiring students brought their own cultural works – paintings and articles made of straw, clay and wood, which were gifted to the museum.

They spent some time at the grave of the great Taras Shevchenko, at the Cathedral of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, and at the Kanevsky Museum of Fine Arts.

Зворушує любов і шана до Великого Тараса переможців конкурсу „Іду з дитинства до Тараса”

Холодна осіння доба заспівала яскравими кольорами вишиванок і щасливими посмішками юних патріотів України із Дніпровщини в Національному музеї  Т. Шевченка на Чернечій Горі в м. Каневі.

Велика подяка жертводавцям ЗУАДК-у за здійснення заповітних мрій, за те що засіваєте серця і душі молодих українців  любов’ю до рідноі землі.

A cold November day was warmed by the hearts of young, patriotic students from Dnipropetrovsk who had won the competition "From Childhood to Taras". While visiting the Monk's Mountain in the city of Kaniv, the students in their colorful embroidered blouses and with smiles of appreciation, paid their respect to the Bard of Ukraine, Taras Shevchenko.  During their sightseeing in Kyiv and Kaniv, the students were privileged to visit the National Museum of Taras Shevchenko

This year the winners of the From Childhood to Taras contests, from Luhansk oblast, won a two-day trip to Kyiv and Kaniv.
