UUARC received the following letter from Chernivtsi Regional Children’s Clinical Hospital that has been translated into English:
“The Administration of the Chernivtsi Regional Children’s Clinical Hospital and the staff of the Department of Intensive Care of Newborns express their sincere gratitude for your collection of funds for the purchase of respiratory sets for SiPAP-CPAP therapy.
With the help of these respiratory sets, it will be possible to provide the necessary respiratory therapy for the youngest of our patients - premature infants with extremely low body weight, as well as newborns who exhibit attempts at independent breathing. The respiratory sets will allow children to breathe independently, as well as reduce the need for artificial lung ventilation, which carries a lot of complications. This is extremely important in the treatment of children in critical condition.
