We are happy to advise all United States federal employees that United Ukrainian American Relief Committee, Inc., the premier Ukrainian-American international aid organization, is again included in the Combined Federal Campaign national list and with the Independent Charities of America (ICA) Federation. Both are assigned code #11187. We are confident that every federal employee, as well as any member of the United States Armed Services, of Ukrainian descent, who may be making charitable contributions through the Combined Federal Campaign, will be pleased to see UUARC on the list. The Combined Federal Campaign has begun, but we are reminding our federal donors, so as many Ukrainian-Americans as possible can take advantage of this opportunity to support our organization. Please remember UUARC, Code #11187 under Independent Charities of America (ICA).

Medivka for the Health of Wounded Ukrainian Soldiers

Tetyana Husar and Halyna Mizak have been working diligently to make the delicious Ukrainian honey liqueur, better known as, Medivka. This secret, old world family recipe has been acknowledged as a great tasting cordial that warms the heart. All of the profits from sales are donated to UUARC’s “Adopt a Ukrainian Wounded Soldier” program, providing sponsorship to eight wounded soldiers in the last two years.

If in the Philadelphia area, look for these generous ladies at the next Ukrainian Educational and Cultural Center bazaar, purchase a bottle, have a drink from the homeland, and support this worthy cause!
